Sarah Morgan
smorgan@sunbeltnetwork.com

Sarah Morgan

Sarah Morgan first encountered the power of franchising in the mid-eighties when she left a successful career in the securities industry and went to work as Century 21 real estate agent. Ms. Morgans career in franchise development was launched when she was invited to join the regional staff of Century 21 of New England as a franchise salesperson. Her passion for this role eventually resulted in a relocation to Virginia where she worked for Century 21 of the Mid-Atlantic States first in franchise sales and eventually as a Vice President and Regional Director for the metropolitan Washington area where she and her staff were responsible for providing comprehensive franchise support services to over 90 real estate offices and 3000 real estate associate.

During her career with Century 21 she was awarded Rookie of the Year in franchise sales and then later received the highest honor for her position; she was recognized as the top franchise sales person nationwide. Over the course of a ten year career with Century 21, Ms. Morgan not only helped potential owners to discover the benefits of franchising, she also worked closely with established franchisees, coaching them to become more productive, competitive and profitable as business owners.

With a change in the corporate ownership of Century 21 system prompted Ms. Morgan to seek new opportunities which, much to her surprise, she found deep in the heart of Texas! From her new location outside of Austin, Ms. Morgan worked first with Keller Williams Realty and then with Computer Moms, as each company concentrated on expanding their franchise systems from regional to national. For a brief and insane period in the late nineties, Ms. Morgan left franchising to work in the high tech industry with emerging technologies that were trying to capitalize on the dot.com boom. The experience was exhilarating, fast paced, high pressure and in the end, not a good way to make a fortune. A return to franchising was a return to sanity. In 2004, she and her husband, Chris, became franchise owners purchasing an automotive franchise concept. While Chris dedicates himself to building that business, Sarah works with people who have a dream of owning a business.

Sarah finds balance her life by puttering in her vegetable garden or playing with the family livestock. She is active in her church and in particular is committed to mission work in Malawi, Africa. Together she and her husband sponsor two children in Malawi, one of whom is now attending college.
